Nami Island
Nami Island is especially famous during winter after K-Drama Winter Sonata was filmed there.
Nami Island is 63 km away from Seoul in the direction of Chuncheon, and is famous for its beautiful tree lined roads.
The island is 30 minutes away from Chuncheon and an hour away from the suburbs of Seoul. Since it is not far from Seoul, many couples and families come to visit.

The Garden of Morning Calm
The plants which boasted their beauty in Spring, Summer, and Fall start preparing for winter. Birds’ songs and the sound of water flowing under ice, which can be heard in silence in nature while you walk on the path covered with white snow, will clear your mind.
When it becomes dark on a cold winter night, the garden starts waking up slowly as lights are turned on. The festival which starts every December and continues until March of the next year.

Awesome experience in 3 superb locations. The food in the restaurant were great and tasty. The tour guide is good and responsible, ensuring everybody is okay and enjoying the tour. Love the snow and light at the garden of the morning calm.

Very enjoyable day trip. Garden of Morning Calm is so beautiful; autumn colours in the mountain; flowers, etc. Walking in a very calm n relaxed.
Nami is a beautiful island.
The most highlight is the alpaca farm. These alpacas are so cute. Taken them for a walk, feeding them as well.
The guide, Alex is friendly.

Relax and breathtaking tour

It was a great fun tour and the sceneries are just fabulous. Though Nami Island is a good place for photo shooting and the falling of the leaves were so beautiful but I feel that it is too commercialize now. In comparison, I would prefer The Garden of the morning calm instead as by just looking at the flowers and greeneries, I'm already sensing the calmness in my body and mind. My favorite one is of course the healing walk with the lovely Alpaca. They are so cute and gentle longing for our care and love. I wish I could spend more time with the alpacas as the feeling of being with them is really good and it helps us to relieve our stressful mind. But please remember not to overwork the alpacas and ensure that they do not eat the sands or stones from the ground. Feed them and they will be happy to follow you ☺.

Second time visitor to Korea - Tour guide was lovely and very friendly but whole trip felt very rushed and disorganised on pickup locations, especially at Nami island and not much information given on sights viewed. Would NOT recommend the food in restaurant suggested by tour, even for a tourist location it was overpriced (approx 20AUD) for poor quality chicken (15000 WAN) in portion (rice as 4000WAN) add on and owner refused to accept card when we we there despite a functioning card machine. Overall couldn’t recommend it compared to other similar tours I’ve done in Korea.

The activity itself was great! Enjoy all the attraction points. Must go if u like animal and nice scenery.
Couldnt find the bus at first as it was park to the side in a small road. But guide added us to a whatsapp group which is convenient to keep in touch. Also the bus broke down (due to very cold weather) at the beginning and the whole bus smelled of oil and smokes. Alternate bus took 30mins to arrive but all was good. Manage to follow the itinerary to the dot.
Lunch at Nami Island (optional upon arrival via guide reccomendation) was not fresh at all.
Morning calm should go after sundown to catch the lights. But web we were there alot of spots were cordoned off under renovationl)
All in all, the guide was helpful, nice, fluent in english n chinese and quick to address our problem. Bonus is : free water and yummy cheese cake for breakfast!
