After the division in 1953, the land and villages of North Korea have become a place South Koreans can never enter, and this is the Observatory to view them through telescopes. You can see villages, houses of North Koreans and if lucky, you can also find North Korean villagers passing by on bicycles.

You can also ride a cable car to enter the DMZ. Some visitors ask if it can be dangerous, but the DMZ, as its name signifies, is a demilitarized zone where peaceful and beautiful nature has been preserved as it is. This is a special experience to enjoy the true beauty of the DMZ by walking on and looking at the landscape from the cable car.

Enter railroad tracks destroyed by bombings and scarred by the traces of bullets during the Korean War and a bunker that was actually used during the war.
