Overview

Enjoy a relaxing day in Chuncheon City - capital of Gangwon Province in South Korea. Will take about one and a half hour from three spots of Seoul city center to Chuncheon City. After arriving there, will visit total three attractions - Alpaca World , Gubongsan cafe street and the Hyundai Premium Outlet Space One. The whole trip will take around 11 to 12 hours and will come back to Seoul around 5:30pm and arrive around 7:00pm in the evening.

Alpaca World is the one and only in Korea where you can see, feed and touch alpacas, white deers, mules, hinnies and ponies. Moreover, you can join and experience different kinds of activities there as well, such as animal parade that you can experience seasonally-themed parade of those animals; Eco electric cart where you can sit back in the cart to enjoy the fairy-tale scene and smelling fresh air, as well as experience the hourse-riding, hug and feed rabbits and so on. Gubongsan Mountain Observatory Cafe Street

Gubongsan Mountain Observatory is one of the most scenic driving courses in Chuncheon, stunning with its breathtaking views both day and night. With fresh brewed coffee in hand, go for a stroll to its outside terrace or garden where you can gaze out on the beauty of Chuncheon. The observatory offers the best spot to see the night view of Chuncheon. Cafes and restaurants decorated with different themes provide good coffee and a great food. Opened as of October 2020, SPACE1 Hyundai Premium Outlets is the 4th outlet store run by the Hyundai Department Store Co. Its name ‘SPACE’ is an acronym that stands for “shopping, play, art, culture, and experience”, while the ‘1’ “emphasizes the fact that it is the country’s first and only culture-focused outlet store“. Almost 70% of its space is dedicated to art and cultural facilities.

Well organised day trip to see alpacas!

Our trip with Rachel was great, very well organised and ran smoothly. We really enjoyed Alpaca world and it was interesting to see something different at the Jade Garden and Santorini cafe. I'd recommend wearing comfortable shoes as there was a lot of walking during the day and alpaca world has a lot of hills!

Really enjoyed the day, the first stop at the Jade Garden was an absolute highlight. I wish the stop here was just a little longer. Alpaca World was cute. Didn’t really like the last stop that much, was lovely to see and stop at but we were there for so long. Over all it was a great day.

Good but with an area of possible improvement

Chose this tour as it allowed us to spend a bit more time at Alpaca World compared to the other options (3 hours vs 2 hours) as main attraction was Alpaca World.
One point for consideration would be to try to get us to Alpaca World before the morning event at 1010am. We did get there just before that event but guide could have told us about it so we won't detour to the bathroom after the long bus ride but go to that event first.

Very steep walks, unattentive guide, beautiful views

The tour was nice I think I might have enjoyed it more if my first tour had not been so amazing. This tour was not structured so you are left to wander on your own. The tour guide gives very minimal info,

Alpaca World is built into a mountain and the bus can't make it to the entrance so there's an intense uphill walk before you even get there and the place is very steep and hilly. There were elderly and one handicapped girl in my group I don't think they were prepared and there was at least one elevator that the tour guide did not alert them to until we were coming back down to the bus
