A wonderful experience with a great tour guide!

We had a fantastic day! Justin, our guide, was very friendly and knowledgable. During the hike he provided a lot of interesting information about the history of the area and the mountain itself. The total time for our hike was 3 hours up and down including a little time at the top and a short visit to one of the temples. The lunch nearby was delicious and very fresh. The sauna experience was enjoyable, I highly recommend the body scrub treatment. We were extremely satisfied and highly recommend the experience to anyone seeking a high quality private day!
Don’t miss this Seoul experience

We hiked with Eric who was a fabulous guide. He is fit and considerate. He carefully guided us all through some of the rocky parts. The hike can be done in runners but hiking boots would be better if you have them. It’s steep and rocky in sections but you can stop regularly and rest. We walked to the temple and then to the peak at 555m. The walk is 3 hours but you stop for parts so it’s about 2 hours of walking. There are lots of steps at the temple. 108 to go to the Buddha carved in the rock. It’s worth the effort.
At the peak Eric had prepared fruit snacks and coffee which was a lovely surprise. Coming down we went an easier way as my sons knees were sore.
Then we had a delicious lunch of dolsot which is a traditional rice dish. Eric showed us how to eat it and even took all the bones out of the fish.
Then we did the sauna. My 13 year old son was not keen but 16 yr old daughter and I liked it. Take a change of clothes for after all the spa baths. We did the scrub and massage with facial and hair wrap. Was invigorating and relaxing!
Eric was a fabulous guide and made the day so much more than just a hike in the mountains! Highly recommend this tour.
Fantastic experience

A day in the mountains hiking with Justin was-literally- a breath of fresh air. Justin speaks excellent English and we learned a lot about Korea during our drive and hike.
The weather was quite warm, but the trail had plenty of shade. The forest and streams were beautiful. I do recommend sunscreen and bug repellant if you go during summer.
After the hike, we had a delicious lunch and then headed back to Seoul and the sauna.
Justin gave us detailed information on what to do at the sauna . On my side, no women spoke English so sign language got me through. My husband met a couple of expats on the men's floor and had a great time visiting the various sauna offerings with them.
I HIGHLY recommend the scrub after you finish soaking. Just point to the last item on the list where all the tables are in the back. They will try hard to upsell, but they happily obliged when I stayed with the scrub. They even wash your hair at the end and you will find plenty of hair dryers in the dressing area.
I really can't recommend this trip enough.

My brother and I went on this hike together. The pick up was prompt and the car ride was relaxing. Our tour guide, Jae, was very welcoming and fun to talk to about Seoul and our different cultures (we are from Texas). The hike was at a good pace and Jae made sure to stop if we needed to or move faster if we wanted to. The mountains were beautiful! And the weather was cool for a summer day. The Korean restaurant we ate at after was delicious and filling. I had hot kimchi jjiggae and my brother had a cold kimichi noodle soup. There were plenty of side dishes to try and the people providing the meal were very friendly. The sauna experience was amazing and just what you want after a 2-3 hour hike. Jae explains everything about how to attend a Korean sauna so don’t worry if you have never been, it was our first time too and we loved it! There are different saunas to try and things to do for kids like videogames. Just bring stuff to wash up and a change of clothes.

I kind of dragged my brother on this tour and he is difficult to please but Jae made him feel welcome and engaged the whole. time and even my brother said he enjoyed himself alot. He said to give Jae six stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Excellent

We had a fantastic day with our guide Jay. The hike was difficult but a lot of fun. The Korean spa is a great experience and a nice way to relax after the hike.
