It is 160 miles long and about 2.5 miles wide. It is 30 miles north of Seoul.
You need to go on a tour, and it is heavily guarded
The highlight of the tour was the walk down the Third tunnel which was discovered 25 years after the Korean War finished in 1978
It is one mile long,6 feet 4 inches maximum high and 6 feet 8 inches wide
The tunnel is now a tourist site, though still well guarded. I walked down a long steep incline and in the infiltration tunnel which luckily, I had a hard hat on as bumped my head many times and had to bend my back as very low. You can also go by train which there is an extra charge
