Thank You to our guide Jimmy, who made our tour enjoyable. I was worried since I had 2 younger children with us that they would get board, but you made it a fun and learning adventure for them.
Excellent

Alfo the guide was extremely knowledgeable and very welcoming. Not only did I get an opportunity to learn about the history of the DMZ, but I also got a local's perspective. I would recommend this tour to anyone. The food was great as well.
Great tour!

We had a nice tour of the DMZ with Kevin today. We were picked up at our hotel after a short 30 minute delay by our driver/guide. Kevin's English was good but some word pronunciation was not perfect. The DMZ was very interesting and we had no delay switching to a DMZ mandatory shuttle bus with other passengers for a multi stop tour. Kevin supplemented the shuttle guide's information which was nice. Lunch (included) was fantastic at a local (no english menu) place specializing in basic Korea food (we were offered a choice of cuisine). Kevin ordered ample and a variety of foods for us to try and everything was very good. We then opted for the suspension bridge visit which was a bit strenuous (8 min hike) to get to and was a nice bridge but was over a dry area and road. I was expecting a river from some photos I had seen. We then drove back to Seoul and Kevin nicely offered to drop us at another tourist site near our hotel which saved us dome time. The van was very clean and nice. Kevins guiding and driving was very good. Also, should mention that the 3rd tunnel hike doen and out of the tunnel was very stenuous even for our 25 year olds and you will need your passports for admittance to the DMZ. Also, highly recommend trying the soybean ice cream at DMZ if offered!
Lovely way to spend the day

We opted for a private tour and it was a good decision. Jun was our guide and picked us up from our hotel bright and early. We travelled in the comfort of a private vehicle and were able to learn more about Korea from him on the drive there which takes slightly more than an hour. Jun was with us the whole way and told us more about the DMZ and answered any questions we had which was one of the best things about doing a private tour. The DMZ itself was an eye opening experience as I've only ever read about it or seen it on TV. We had a quick lunch break and also visited the suspension bridge during this tour. It was really nice to see the outskirts of Seoul. Thanks Jun for a great day trip. I highly recommend doing a private tour if you prefer smaller groups, a dedicated guide, and flexibility.

Mr Kim filled us with Korean history on our way to DMZ. We learned a lot from him. We had a great time for him guiding us around.
