Hwaseong Fortress

he fortress was designated as Historic Site No. 3 in January 1963, and in December 1997, it was designated a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site. A variety of performances and events are held at the fortress every day and Suwon Hwaseong Cultural Festival takes place here in autumn.

Korean Folk Village

Korean Folk Village introduces traditional culture from the late Joseon period to both local and international visitors through cultural classes experience, shaman faith, seasonal customs and others. Also, the village shows various places with unique features such as a farming village, private house, official districts, Confucian academy, seodang (village school), and a village street in realistic descriptions, as well as, a nobleman’s house and traditional workshop.

I don't normally leave a review but felt compelled to because of the excellent service of this tour. Our guide daniel min was so fun and accomodating. He even took amazing photos of us on his camera and promptly sent them a few days after. Our family of 22pax booked them for 3 days and everything was as we wanted. They were also so easy to get in touch with via email, replys right away. This was the highlight of our trip. Thank you daniel and iamyourguide. Will definitely recommend to our family and friends.

Our tour guide Andrew was solid. He was nice and accommodating. We enjoyed the beautiful experience outside of Seoul. This provided us a unique experience. The only negative was Andrew took a ton of pictures for us but when he sent the link we were not able to download. Thus not having many of the pictures captured of the tour.
