What To Expect

Jeonju Hanok Village
Jeonju Hanok Village is especially beautiful for its unique roof edges, which are slightly raised to the sky. Another trait of Hanok is that all the houses are heated with ondol, a unique sub-floor heating system. Since Koreans enjoy sitting, eating, and sleeping on the floor, it needs to remain heated.

Nambu Market
you have to visit Nambu traditional market. In Jeonju, there is a saying “no marriage unless visiting Nambu Market.” The market sells almost everything used in our everyday life, including food, furniture, clothing, and the like. Nambu Market offers abundant local delicacies, such as blood sausage hot-pot, bean sprouts hot-pot, moju (sweet rice wine). Here you can try some street food like pan fried mung-bean cake(Nokdu Jeon), grilled pig intestine and skin, torched beef sushi and Pan-fried bacon-vegetable roll.

Gyeonggijeon Shrine
Gyeonggijeon Shrine features history exhibits and museum with royal portraits. Gyeonggi Jeon displays memorial portraits and ancestor tablets of the Yi family, the rulers of the Joseon Dynasty. Memorialized rulers include the dynasty's founder King Taejo, Sejong, Yeongjo, and many others.
